Kernersville Post 36 moves on to regionals


COLUMBIA, Tn. - The team that knocked Rocky Mount Post 58 out of the N.C. American Legion Baseball State Tournament and went on to win the state title will start regional play this week.

Kernersville Post 36 (Forsyth County), which sent Post 58 home with a 13-3 win, will start its move to the American Legion World Series Thursday with play in the Southeast Regionals. The eight-team field will be playing at Dave Hall Field at Columbia State Community Collge.
