Current New York Mets outfielder and North Carolina native Trot Nixon (front row, third from the left) was the guest speaker at the SEAM (Sports, Evangelism and Mission) Night of Champions fundraiser dinner held Thursday evening at Englewood Baptist Church. Among the teams honored during the evening were Rocky Mount's 2008 NCHSAA 3-A state baseball championship squad.
