Website predicts Goodwin to go to the Yankees!

Rocky Mount senior centerfielder Brian Goodwin is predicted to be the 28th pick of the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft which is set for Tuesday, June 9.

The website myMLBDraft.com has Goodwin going to the New York Yankees with their first pick in their mock draft.

For a look at the site's prediction, including former Conley pitcher and current UNC hurler Alex White going in the top three picks, click here!

It would hurt my feelings to see him in pinstripes considering that I've been a Red Sox fan for over 40 years, but at least we'd see him more playing for an East coast team.

We wish him all the best when the time comes!
