Fish, Cuthrell, Johnson destined for Wilson

Ben Fish
Three former Rocky Mount High School baseball players are expected to spend part of their summer in Wilson playing for the Coastal Plain League's Wilson Tobs.

Rising senior Ben Fish (Campbell University) and rising juniors Collins Cuthrell (Barton College) and Hobbs Johnson (UNC) have all signed with the club. Cuthrell and Fish are currently with the team, which has its opening game next Tuesday evening at Fleming Stadium.

Johnson may be a bit busy elsewhere for a while.

Collins Cuthrell
The lefty is still playing as the No. 3 starter for the Tar Heels as they enter NCAA regional playoff action this weekend. Should the Tar Heels win their regional, they are slated to host a super regional. A victory there would send UNC to Omaha for yet another chance at national title.

Fish and Cuthrell are two of the best offensive players in RMHS history. But how will they do with a wooden bat?
